My work often emerges at the intersection of design, publishing, and fashion, while always staying rooted in a self-directed ( and at times very personal ) visual world.
An alumni of the Art University of Kassel, I have been published inter alia by Boy.Brother.Friend; Dream (2023), NUMÉRO BERLIN; Liebe (2022), APOCALYPSE MAGAZINE, Paris; Dazed Magazine London (2020); Mr Big office / Medialisierungen Afrikas / Politics and Society in Africa Series: Bayreuther Studien zu Politik und Gesellschaft in Afrika | vol. 4 / Nomos (2017); KWANI? Nairobi, Kenya (2017); Pop’Africana Magazine NY (2008, 2014); Chimurenga PMS Reader, South Africa (2012), CAPOSUD magazine, Italy (2009).
Additionally, as an independent publisher, I have participated in various Zine festivals for example; Somerset house London:Process!(2018); First Bubblegum Club Zine Exhibition Johannesburg, South Africa (2018); Printed Matter, Inc. THE NY ART BOOK FAIR with Ropepress publishing / MoMA PS1, Queens New York (2018); The Millionaires Club Leipzig (2016); Angoulême Festival Independent Comic Festival F.O.FF. (2015) and also International Comic Salon Erlangen (2008).
As a former Lecturer at the Art University of Kassel, I had the privilege of participating in the esteemed Kassel documenta, notably in The documenta 14 Parliament of Bodies (2017). In 2020, I continued to contribute to the arts through Berlin's Senate Department for Culture and Europe's highly competitive Special Scholarship program.
Based in Berlin, I enjoy flâneuring the city streets, love music, doomscrolling fashion imagery, and binge-watching decadent films. :) Feel free to say hi!
